Passport to Learning – Regular Restricted Learning Destinations (New in 2018)

Members of Children’s University Australia can gain their Passport to Learning hours through a variety of different activities – A new addition in 2018 are the Regular Restricted Learning Destinations Review Forms:

Regular Restricted Learning Destinations:

In an effort to encourage students to seek out new and unique learning experiences, the decision has been made to cap the total amount of hours earned from Regular Restricted Learning Destinations to 10 hours per activity, per membership period. This will also make it simpler for students to earn hours from new activities as they do not need to wait for paperwork to be completed from each organisation. In the case of Regular Restricted Learning Destinations, students can gain their hours simply by completing a ‘Review’ of their activities each year. These Learning Destinations do not need to be listed as a Learning Destination on the website (Organisations are still encouraged to sign up as CUA Learning Destinations to be listed on our website, but it is not a requirement for students to include these activities in their Passports to Learning).

Students who participate in Regular Restricted Learning Destination activities can collect the appropriate review form from their in-school CUA Coordinator, complete it, and return it before graduation for the in-school CUA Coordinator to validate up to a maximum of 10 hours of learning in their Passport (per activity).

The students can earn up to a maximum of 10 hours for participation in the same activity the following year, should they renew their annual membership.

Children’s University Australia have created review forms for the following activities: These can be collected from your in-school CUA Coordinator or downloaded by clicking on the links below.

If your child regularly participates in an activity which does not fall under any of the above categories, please contact us via email: [email protected] and we will prepare an appropriate Review Form.

Thank you
